Completion of Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Science.
Additional Required Qualifications:MSc in Computer Science or Bioinformatics. Experience with genomics: retrieval, analysis and interpretation of genomic data. Experience with bioinformatics tools such as GATK or Illumina Dragen. Advanced programming skills in at least one programming language as well as extensive experience with running and modifying different software from distinct programming languages. Proficient programming in Python. Experience with database development in SQL or similar. Experience with web development. Proficient in Linux (Red Hat and other common distributions).
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum of 1 year experience in a Bioinformatics role. Minimum 1 year experience with Next Generation Sequencing. Experience with High Performance Computing (HPC) scheduler tools such as SLURM. Experience with human genomics analysis. Experience handling clinical data.
