We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Driver to support our laboratory operations. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely transport of laboratory samples from collection sites to our laboratory testing facilities, ensuring that all specimens are handled under strict safety and regulatory standards. You will be responsible for following established protocols to maintain the integrity of samples, properly documenting deliveries, and adhering to all regulatory requirements. Description:
As a Driver I, you will transport a range of products including, but not limited to, mail, packages, medical supplies, equipment, food and linen, in accordance with AHS standards, regulations and policies. Working independently, you must adhere to scheduled routes, as well as ad hoc requests, in a safe and courteous manner. You will be expected to perform a series of routine duties such as logging mileage, cleaning vehicles, performing pre and post vehicle inspections and reporting defects and malfunctions to management.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Must hold a valid Class 5 Alberta Operator's Licence. Completion of valid Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) certificate.
Additional Required Qualifications:Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs and transport specimen and equipment as required.
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum 1 year of experience as a commercial driver and or previous courier role is an asset.
