Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in office of business administration, medical office assistant).
Additional Required Qualifications:Excellent keyboarding skills. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and applications. Minimum 5 years relevant experience in an administrative support role in an organization of significant size & complexity. Experience with unionized environments. Demonstrates professional and effective verbal & written communication skills. Demonstrates a high standard of customer service by assessing & meeting the needs of internal & external stakeholders. Maintains a professional image & positive attitude, and promotes an inclusive, positive, & respectful work environment at all times. Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a medical laboratory setting. Basic knowledge of Medical Terminology. Extensive computer and software skills. Experience with e-People, Acrobat, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint within last 6 months. Extensive experience with Microsoft Office programs. Recent experience with timekeeping and scheduling activities. Excellent organizational skills. Certificates and courses in Personal Leadership, Respectful Workplace, Conflict Resolution, Change Management, & Process Improvement.
