Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Biostatistics or Statistics. Experience with various advanced statistical regression modelling, such as GLMs, survival models, longitudinal models and structural equation modelling. Ability to work collaboratively with members of an interdisciplinary team. Substantial experience and expertise using SAS, Stata and R. Some exposure to epidemiology concepts and studies. Experience documenting data analysis and data quality steps. Ability to prepare written summaries of data analyses that include figures and tables, as needed for scientific publications and presentations.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Ability to manipulate large and complex data sets. Independent judgment, attention to detail. Ability to learn new methods and strong problem solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge and experience with surveillance studies. Ability to work with large, complex data sets stored in SQL databases. SAS Certification. Experience applying statistical analysis methods in a health work place setting. A. Stat. or P. Stat. Accreditation is desirable. Prior experience analyzing administrative health databases is an asset. Excellent communication skills including advanced written and spoken English skills.
